My name is Carys Mair Thomas and I have almost 20 years’ experience working in the UK and Ireland as a communications professional within the not-for-profit sector. 

I have had the privilege of working for a range of leading organisations that have changed the lives of millions of people, including Oxfam, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Children's Rights Alliance, Sustrans, BeLonG To, and the Commission for Racial Equality. During my time in Ireland I worked on two referendum campaigns, most notably as Campaign Manager for the BeLonG To Yes coalition on marriage equality in May 2015.

I now thrive on working collaboratively with like-minded organisations, businesses or individuals, to support their objectives through high-quality, cost-effective and timely communications solutions. And as a fluent Welsh speaker I understand the importance of developing products that work in more than one language.

Since becoming freelance in 2016, I’ve provided consultancy support for a range of clients, including Royal College of Nursing, Wales Council for Voluntary Action, Public Health Wales, Lloyds Bank Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, Senator Alice-Mary Higgins, Into Film, Children’s Rights Alliance, Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru / Together Creating Communities, and Cardiff University.

Rydw i nawr yn gweithio ar y cyd gyda sefydliadau, busnesau ac unigolion o'r un anian, i gefnogi eu hamcanion drwy ddarparu gwaith cyfathrebu amserol a safonol, am bris rhesymol. Fel aelod cyflawn o'r Sefydliad Siartredig Cysylltiadau Cymdeithasol a Chymraes Gymraeg rwy'n deall yn naturiol ddigon sut i ddatblygu adnoddau dwyieithog graenus.

Ers sefydlu fy nghwmni yn 2016, rydw i wedi gweithio i nifer o gleientiaid, gan gynnwys Coleg Nyrsio Brenhinol, Cyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru, Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru, Lloyds Bank Foundation, WWF Cymru, y Seneddwraig Alice-Mary Higgins, Into Film, Children’s Rights Alliance, Prifysgol Caerdydd a Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru / Together Creating Communities.
